Established apartments in Blackburn experienced considerable price growth of 9.2% in the year to March 2016, to reach a median capital value of $655,500, far exceeding the growth of the Greater Melbourne area (at 5.3%).

Since March 2011, Blackburn apartments have seen growth of 23%, whilst over the same time, Greater Melbourne apartment values grew a total of 8%.
